Little Pea Book

Little Pea is a gentle and joyful picture book from award-winning author Davide Cali and illustrator Sébastien Mourrain about growing into yourself and discovering the things that make you special.

Little Pea was born tiny, but he has big dreams. As he grows, he loves to climb, explore, swim, and daydream, just like any other child.

When Little Pea starts school, being small suddenly becomes a much bigger challenge. He’s too tiny to sit comfortably at his desk, play the flute, or even join his classmates at recess. For the first time, he begins to wonder what his small size means for his place in the world.

With warmth and humour, Little Pea celebrates individuality and reminds us that being different doesn’t mean being less.
